Just when you think it's hit a peak, the Rahlves' Banzai Tour pushes the limit even further. The "Wall" Banzai, the second of the 2015 three-stop tour, held at Kirkwood Mountain Resort on March 7th and 8th, took the series to another level with wild, high-speed runs and feverish competition. Results in all fields are posted, and Tahoe TV's video coverage will be available soon.

Kirkwood proved again to be an ideal location for the one-of-a-kind Banzai event, with superb spring weather and excellent racing conditions. With the 'low-tide' snow levels this season, the start of the race was moved down from the ridge of "The Wall", yet provided some of the most critical and exciting first gates of any Banzai prior.

The course, carefully set by Daron Rahlves' and the Kirkwood race department crew, offered every possible challenge for the over-seventy competitors in four divisions. Now legendary components of the Kirkwood Banzai, named after the tour's sponsors include the 'GoPro Hole Shot', 'Alaska Airlines Flight Deck', 'Reach79 Speed Trap', 'Snowsnake Gully', and 'Bank of the West Money Zone' each delivered high-speed action, frequent lead changes, game-changing crashes, and intense racing challenges.

In the end, Kyle Coxon continued his reign with another win in the Men's Ski division; Shelly Robertson took first place in the Women's Ski division; Lucas Dehmlow won the Men's Snowboard division, and Audrey Hebert won the Women's Snowboard division - her second win of this season's tour.

Tahoe TV's video coverage of the event, shot entirely on over thirty GoPro cameras placed on racers and throughout the course, will surely reflect the excitement of the event. The video will be posted here and on the Rahlves' Banzai website within a few days.
