More Lifts, Terrain To Open at Squaw | Alpine

Following extensive snowmaking and ample recent snowfall, Palisades Tahoe | Alpine Meadows is set to open more lifts and terrain on Friday, Dec. 2nd. Summit chair will open at Alpine Meadows for top-to-bottom skiing and riding, and at Palisades Tahoe, two additional upper mountain lifts are scheduled.

[Olympic Valley, Calif.] Dec. 1, 2016 – With cold temperatures and continued snowmaking production, Palisades Tahoe Alpine Meadows will open additional terrain tomorrow, December 2, at both mountains. At Alpine Meadows, Summit Express is scheduled to operate at 9:00 am. With high winds in the forecast for Friday, guests are encouraged to monitor the new Palisades Tahoe Alpine Meadows App for real-time updates. At Palisades Tahoe, Solitude and Belmont chairs will open, expanding the skiable terrain. The mountain also opened hike-to terrain in Siberia Bowl, accessible from Gold Coast Express, which opens the Newport, Racers, Siberia Bowl, Siberia Run and Yellow Trail terrain.

With Palisades Tahoe Alpine Meadows looking to once again host Tahoe’s longest season, now is the time to purchase a Tahoe Super Pass, with the deadline extended through December 6.

Tahoe Super Pass Deadline Extended: Prices go up after December 6
Skiers and riders looking to gain access to 6,000 acres, 42 lifts and over 270 trails at both Palisades Tahoe and Alpine Meadows can purchase the Tahoe Super Pass, starting at $499 for adults. Current prices will increase up to $120 and the Bronze Pass will no longer be available after December 6.
