Brews, Jazz & Funk Fest Returns This Weekend

2015 BrewsJazzFunk

Palisades Tahoe welcomes brew masters and musicians at the 15th Annual Brews, Jazz and Funk Fest August 13-14t. This long-running and wildly popular two-day fundraising festival benefits the Humane Society of Truckee-Tahoe.

The Village at Palisades Tahoe will host breweries and musical performances for the 15th annual Brews, Jazz and Funk Fest, taking place August 13-14. Festival-goers will enjoy an incredible lineup of beer and music both days, with all proceeds from the event benefitting the Humane Society of Truckee-Tahoe, a non-profit dedicated to saving and improving the lives of animals. Last year’s festival raised over $20,000 for the Humane Society of Truckee-Tahoe. The 2016 festival will take place on Saturday, August 13 and Sunday, August 14 from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. both days.

“We’re excited to welcome an eclectic group of musicians and breweries to this year’s Brews, Jazz and Funk Fest,” said Caroline Ross, executive director for the Squaw Village Neighbourhood Company. “The festival is a fantastic mid-summer gathering for locals and visitors with a special philanthropic element. Our goal this year is to raise even more for the Humane Society of Truckee-Tahoe than we did last year.”
