North Lake Tahoe, Calif./Nev. (Friday, June 17) – North Lake Tahoe High Notes, a summer-long music series, featuring both weekly music al fresco acts and headlining festivals across the region returns to the shores of Lake Tahoe Friday, June 17. To commemorate the ongoing series, High Notes will launch a limited edition 2016 Highnotes poster by local artist Meredith Solin at Music on the Beach featuring The Blues Monsters at Kings Beach Friday, June 17 from 6-8:30 p.m.
Solin, as the resource and fundraising coordinator for Communitere International, a nonprofit organization providing disaster relief to places in need like Nepal, Haiti and the Philippines, continues service to the community by celebrating the annual summer-long series with a limited edition poster capturing the colorful tunes that are woven from the beaches to lofty meadows of the North Lake Tahoe High Notes music series.
From reggae to rock, jazz and pop, High Notes celebrates a variety of music genres entwined into the mountainous high-alpine air during popular weekly shows like Bluesdays at Palisades Tahoe, the beach-side breeze at Music on the Beach, held at Kings Beach, and Concerts on Commons Beach in Tahoe City, as well as intimate pubs and legendary showrooms of Crystal Bay and Tahoe Biltmore.
North Lake Tahoe High Notes festivals celebrate the diversity of musical options including Beerfest and Bluegrass Festival at Northstar California, Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival’s Showcase Series, and the Brews, Jazz and Funk Fest at Palisades Tahoe.
