The annual Foam Fest, one of the most highly-anticipated local events of the year, kicks off the fall season on September 5th at the base of Palisades Tahoe with 40 breweries, a huge raffle and live music from Dead Winter Carpenters.

Beer enthusiasts will sample brews from more than 40 microbreweries on Saturday, September 5th at Disabled Sports USA Far West's 26th annual Foam Fest.  This annual community 'backyard party' promises to be better than ever with great music by Truckee and North Tahoe's Dead Winter Carpenters and Smoked Out Soul. The opportunity to pick up some sweet swag is as endless as the supply of beer.  The Foam Fest raffle items include a California Gold Pass, and passes from Palisades Tahoe | Alpine Meadows and Northstar-Kirkwood -Heavenly,  as well as skis, outdoor gear and more items from local retailers, restaurants and participating brewers. 

The event runs from 2:00 to 6:00 pm at the KT Sundeck at the base of Palisades Tahoe. Admission is $30 in advance and $35 at the door. A 'non-tasting' ticket is available for $10 and kids 12 and under are admitted free. Tickets are available online at www.disabledsports.net or by calling 530-581-4161.

Foam Fest is a gathering of good friends and the Truckee/North Tahoe community to enjoy an afternoon of great beer, great music and getting together to support a good cause. Proceeds from the event enable Disabled Sports to continue to provide sports rehabilitation and therapeutic recreation programs to anyone with any disability.
