'In Deep' Premieres at Squaw Oct 3rd

MSP Films’ latest ski movie, “In Deep, The Skiing Experience” will hold it's premier at the Olympic Village Lodge in Palisades Tahoe on October 3. The evening includes three screenings, followed by a tribute party to Shane McConkey.

The evening will feature athlete appearances, prize giveaways, a 'Saucerboy' costume contest and a special Tribute Party with live music and antics celebrating the incredible life of Shane McConkey.

MSP took a new approach to winter sports filmmaking for “In Deep.” Each segment is built around different aspects of the sport of skiing. Highlights from the film include the “Lines” segment, which illustrates each individual’s unique vision of skiing big mountain lines.  A standout newcomer to the MSP team, Henrik Windstedt, has a breakthrough segment that transitions into some of the fastest skiing seen in the Alaskan backcountry, courtesy of Daron Rahlves, Chris Davenport, and Henrik Windstedt. The film also includes a powerful segment in tribute segment to Shane McConkey, who made numerous appearances and starring roles in MSP's long line of films.

“In Deep” features many of Palisades Tahoe’s brightest stars, Ingrid Backstrom, Michelle Parker, JT Holmes and Shane. Other world class rippers include Mark Abma, Sean Pettit, Eric Hjorleifson, Daron Rahlves, Henrik Windstedt, Chris Davenport, Bobby Brown, Colby West, TJ Schiller, Mike Douglas, Kaj Zackrisson, James Heim, Hugo Harrisson, Rory Bushfield, PK Hunder, Jacob Wester, Russ Henshaw, Henrik Harlaut, Alexis Godbout, Sammy Carlson, and Chris Rubens.
