The Truckee Bike Park's annual Spring 'Fun-Raiser' event will be held on Thursday, April 5th from 5 - 10pm at Bar of America in downtown Truckee. The event includes a special buffet dinner, live music and a large raffle. All proceeds support the next and final phase of a multi-year build-out of the park.
The final phase of construction, which will complete the original park design will be built in three acres remaining of the ten-acre park located adjacent to the Riverview Sports Park just east of Truckee off Highway 267. The construction, which is already planned and permitted with a contractor standing by, needs the additional funding necessary in order to complete the project. The estimated funds required to complete the project are in the $200,000 range.
Tickets for the event are $35 for adults and $20 for kids under 13 years. All tickets include the extravagant Bar of America Buffet and Live Music. Raffle tickets are $5 each. Raffle and Auction items include gear, bike shop services, clothingand much more from a host of participating local businesses.
