Starts at 10 AM - meet at the Visitor Center in downtown Tahoe City.

Presented by the North Lake Tahoe Historical Society, this free, guided walking tour is perfect for locals and visitors alike.  The tour includes facts and figures about beautiful Lake Tahoe, and also information about the beautiful wilderness surrounding the magestic mountain lake.  Lake Tahoe's colorful history will unfold in fun stories and legends about the people who have called Lake Tahoe home.  After the tour, visitors will have a better appreciation for their pristine surroundings as well as knowledge about the best places to eat, shop and enjoy Lake Tahoe.  

The tour lasts about 1.5 hours and ends at the Gatekeeper's Museum near the Tahoe City Dam and Fanny Bridge.  Free, donations to the North Lake Tahoe Historical Society are appreciated.
