The documentary film "Catching Dreams" is the inspirational true story of a man who simply would not give up on his dream. It tells the story of Brian Flint, a 37 year old amateur flying trapeze catcher with an improbably dream: To perform for the most acclaimed circus in the world, Cirque du Soleil. Undaunted by the long odds, Brian travels the globe, sekking out trapeze artists to help him perfect his death defying act. Capturing this amazing journey on videotape is the acrobat's identical twin brother, Kevin, a cameraman with his own dream of making his first film.
Palisades Tahoe Institute is delighted to host both Kevin and Brian Flint on 24th February. The brothers will introduce their work, and answer audience questions after a showing of the full 98 minute documentary. As this presentation is longer than our usual ones, we will open doors at 6pm and the event will begin at 6.30pm sharp. We anticipate strong demand for this event, so suggest that you purchase your tickets online as soon as possible!"
