Boarding for Breast Cancer (B4BC) will host their thirteenth Annual Skate the Lake July 28 - 29th. The event raises funds for B4BC’s prevention and survivorship programs. The two-day event includes a kick-off registration party July 28, followed by Saturday’s Great Skate with participants skating, biking, or roller skating along a 28-mile portion of North Lake Tahoe.

Participation Fee: Fundraise a minimum of $50 to participate in the skate - includes sponsor goodie bag, event t-shirt and raffle tickets. The top three fundraisers will be recognized and awarded prize packs from partners including GoPro, Skullcandy, Arbor, Von Zipper and Nixon. Please note: All participants are required to sign waivers. If you are under 18, you must have signatures from a parent or legal guardian and wear a helmet.
Since it’s inception in 2005, B4BC’s Skate the Lake has raised over $260,000. Funds raised support B4BC’s outreach, education and survivorship programs and the Gene Upshaw Memorial Tahoe Forest Cancer community.
