Nevada Day is a grand celebration commemorating our admission to statehood in 1864. Nevadan's have the distinction of holding the largest statehood celebration in the nation! The highlight is the Nevada Day Parade, which is held on the last Saturday of October. More than just a parade, Nevada Day special events take place all weekend, beginning Thursday, Oct. 24 through Sunday, Oct. 27.
