Palisades Tahoe Institute brings you Welcome Home Event for The Push, a Tahoe-based team which made history on January 17th of this year with the first adaptive athlete, Grant Korgan, trekking to the South Pole.  The event and presentation is set for Tuesday, January 31st from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Squaw’s Bar One.
The Push Welcome Home Event will be the first appearance by the team since the expedition, featuring a talk by Grant Korgan accompanied by a slideshow featuring Keoki Flagg photographs taken during the trek.  Warren Miller Cinematographer Tom Day filmed the trek and will showcase sneak peak footage taken at the South Pole. The Push; A South Pole Adventure is now being edited for a documentary film and TV series on NBC Universal Sports scheduled for release in the Fall of 2012.
