KidZone Museum presents the First Annual Tahoe Family Festival
 
The first annual Tahoe Family Festival will be held at the Truckee Regional Park Amphitheater on Sunday, August 29 featuring all things family friendly including live music, food, bounce house, face painting, bubble mania, fun games and family yoga. Kids will love the ongoing bike rodeo all afternoon which includes an obstacle course, bike safety, and all things bike! Bring your youngest riders to try a strider running bike! Helmets required.

Kids are FREE and adults are $5.

The event kicks off at 11:00 am with an organized family bike ride starting at 10:00 am at Truckee River Legacy Trail and ending at the event. All attendees are encouraged to walk, bike, skate, etc to the event. This event encourages families to be social with their kids, embrace alternative forms of transportation and highlight family friendly business in the area as well as local performing art talent.  In addition, this is a fundraising event for KidZone Museum.  Food and drinks will be provided by Full Belly Deli, Fifty Fifty Brewery, and Bonzai Coffee. Please bring your own chairs and blankets.

Music and entertainment include Todd Wees, Ben Fuller, Ben Jammin Allstars, Aaron Oropeza, Third Hand String Band and highlights of Hoola hooping. The event is also featuring a raffle with your chance to win a custom bike rack sculpture by Mountain Forge, a cruiser bike by Factory Bike and a kids Strider bike by Natural Riders.
