North Tahoe Arts presents a free summer series of Art Workshops

Thanks to a generous grant from the Tahoe Truckee Community Foundation, North Tahoe Arts is able to offer a summer series of 4 art workshops completely free. Two of these workshops are in collaboration with Trails and Vistas, creating artwork to be viewed on the Art Hike.

Aug. 29: Painting From The Inside Out - Connie Rodriguez

This class is designed for all levels:  whether you dabble in art, know nothing about art, or you are a full on artist.
We will use collage, paper, acrylic paint and stamps to create a word art collage montage. I will show you how create your own stamps and use papers to create a one of a kind piece you will take home.

Sept. 9-10: Environmental Art Installation - Jane Jenny

This two-day workshop is a collaboration with the Trails and Vistas Art Hike. No experience is necessary to participate in this unique and exciting group art project. Using indigenous materials of the local forest, workshop attendees will create a site specific art installation that will be viewed along the Trails & Vistas art hike.
