The 36th annual Freaker’s Ball, Lake Tahoe’s largest, oldest and bawdiest Halloween party, brings the wild with a four-ring costume circus aka four venues under one roof, Saturday, Oct. 25. There is $10,000 in cash and prizes up for grabs.
The holiday costume soiree at South Lake Tahoe has become legendary thanks to imaginative partygoers who take mind-bending creativity risqué to the limit. In recent years the party has popularity has grown to where MontBleu has spread it over four venues: Opal, Blu, the Theater (showroom) and the Haunted Zone Party Pit.
This year’s theme is “Freaky Horror Picture Show” and entails a Time Warp Dance, décor from over 80 years of horror films, a congo parade and high energy dance music.
