Details
Participants should be prepared to cross-country ski approximately 5k roundtrip to and from the biathlon range.  You should be an intermediate skier to participate in this clinic.  If you are new to cross-country skiing we recommend signing up for a private Biathlon lesson to get the most out of your experience.

On the mornings of the Biathlon Certification Class, Northstar-at-Tahoe Resort will provide a shuttle bus from the Castle Peak Parking Lot to mid-mountain at 8:45 a.m.  Participants are required to bring their own rifles and will be allowed to take their rifles on the shuttle, while ammunition will be driven up separately by a Northstar employee.  Once you arrive at mid-mountain you will ski out to the Biathlon Range which is approximately a 2.5K distance one way.  Please wear breathable, waterproof, wicking layers, light gloves that you can keep on while operating the rifle and plenty of sunscreen.  You may also want to bring additional layers to wear on the range after skiing out.  After the class is complete, participants will be shuttled back to the Castle Peak Parking Lot at 1:30 pm.

Rifles are NOT allowed in the Village so please be aware that you must abide by the gun procedure and shuttle schedule and failure to do so will result in loss of biathlon privileges.
