Tahoe Time Lapse - Summer Squall On Lake Tahoe #2
This is a second Time Lapse Video from July 19th's evening show over Lake Tahoe - captured by the webcam at Waterman's Landing in Carnelian Bay.
Lake Tahoe is known for its year-round variety of weather phenomena. Recently, locals, visitors and webcam viewers from near and far were treated to a spectacular array of colors and conditions as a mid-summer squall rolled in over Lake Tahoe on a quiet Sunday afternoon. The Tahoetopia live webcam hosted by our friends at Waterman's Landing in Carnelian Bay captured this exciting full-day time lapse video as the storm whipped up winds, waves, clouds, and rain showers, and then sprinkled it with a dynamic mix of colors and textures as the sun dropped over the Sierra Crest and set in the west.
