Trunk Show, a Tahoe shop offering locally handcrafted jewelery, art and stuff, celebrates two years in business with a full-scale street party at the Cobblestone Center in Tahoe City.

Trunk Show is turning 2! To celebrate, we'd like to give back to the community that supports us. This year's local non-profit beneficiary is The Lake Tahoe Dance Collective.

We'll be filling the front parking lot of The Cobblestone Center with festivities to say thank you to our locals, 2nd homeowners & visitors for supporting Trunk Show. We also want to say thank you to the artists for contributing their work to Trunk Show's eclectic collection and helping to make it the fun store that it is. We are so very grateful for every one of you!

Festivities on tap for the day...

Dance!
~Lake Tahoe Dance Collective will be performing throughout the day to showcase who they are and what they do.
~The The Yoga Room will teach a DJ hosted Yoga Class.
~Tahoe Flow Arts Studio will set up their rig and perform arial silks and teach workshops.


Booze!
For all guests 21 & over with valid ID.
~A beer garden has been provided by Tahoe Mountain Brewing Company. All beer sales will go directly to Lake Tahoe Dance Collective.
~Complimentary Margaritas will be flowing inside Trunk Show.

Tunes!
~Mr. D. of DEEP TRACKS w/ Mr. D 101.5 FM KTKE *Every Tuesday evening* will be the DJ from noon until 7pm. If you have requests, I'm sure he'll be happy to oblige. Get 'em in now!

Local Art!
Of course there will be art. This is Trunk Show's anniversary party after all.
~Fundraising Art Sale Tent - featuring the works of local artists to benefit Lake Tahoe Dance Collective. All proceeds from the Art Tent will be split 50/50 between the artist and Lake Tahoe Dance Collective. Trunk Show doesn't make money on these sales.
~Live Art Demonstrations - Trunk Show's artists will be set up throughout the parking lot showing and demonstrating their art and processes.

Sidewalk Sales!
~Some Cobblestone Business will set up merchandise in front of their shops.

Our mission is to promote classical, modern and contemporary dance of the finest quality in the Lake Tahoe area through performance, education and outreach, enriching the community as a whole and as a cultural destination."

As some of you know - Christin Hanna started Tahoe Youth Ballet seven years ago, Lake Tahoe Dance Collective is the evolution of the production company, that has grown to also present outside companies. Dance classes at Tahoe Youth Ballet still take place and are open to all.
