iON the Barrel is a project born out of a passion – okay, an obsession – with hollow waves, getting tubed, shacked, bagging long, green, deep barrels… you get the idea. The Barrel crew is led by the wave hungry Tony “Harro” Harrington who has declared a three-year quest for barrels and making a trilogy of movies that capture the global adventure that is “iON the Barrel”. iON the Barrel Vol. 2 continues the quest for hollow waves and celebrates the characters, the journey and the stories that unfold along the road that takes them from Hawaii to Mavericks, across the wide Australian desert, up to untamed Indonesia and to the humbling power of “Jaws”.
