North Tahoe Arts is proud to present the 2016 North Lake Tahoe Plein Air Open. Artists of all levels from all over the country will gather in North Lake Tahoe for the week of June 13-18, 2016 to paint the breathtaking scenery of North Lake Tahoe "en plein air," in the open air. You may spot our artists painting along the lake shore, in our scenic valleys or blooming meadows. We have 25 competing artists this year. Monday, June 13:

9am- Artists arrive and register, canvas stamping

 PM- Artists free to paint around Lake Tahoe/Truckee

Tuesday, June 14: 

9am- Organized Paint Out, location TBA, refreshments provided

 PM- Artists free to paint around Lake Tahoe/Truckee

Wednesday, June 15:

 AM- Artists free to paint around Lake Tahoe/Truckee

5pm- Painting Demonstration with Randall Stauss, location TBA

Thursday, June 16:

9am- Commons Beach Farmers Market Quick-Draw Competition

 PM- Artists free to paint around Lake Tahoe/Truckee

Friday, June 17:

9 am- Organized Paint Out at Martis Camp pond and barn, refreshments provided

2 pm- Artists drop off paintings for judging and reception  

4-6 pm- Reception, Main Competition Judging, Awards & Sales at Tahoe Maritime Museum, Tahoe City

Saturday, June 18:

Noon-4pm- FREE public exhibit on the NTA Plaza during the Tahoe City Wine Walk

4-5pm- Artist check-out at NTA
