Fireside Pizza Company hosts second annual Fall Fundraising Feast
All Proceeds go to Truckee Family Resource Center
 
Olympic Valley, CA- Fireside Pizza Company in the Village at Palisades Tahoe will host the third annual Fall Fundraising Feast on Monday, October 24.  The event will run from 6p.m.-9p.m. and a $10.00 donation at the door will provide an all you can eat buffet, live music, drink specials and a live raffle. Music will be provided by Nick Denoia and other area musicians. Raffle prizes have been generously donated by local businesses.  
 
The Fall Fundraising Feast is the culmination of a yearlong effort by Fireside’s staff and management to raise money and awareness for the Truckee Family Resource Center. For the past year the Fireside staff has donated change and a percentage of their tips. The restaurant also gave customers the opportunity to easily add a $1.00 donation to their bills.  The restaurant’s owner Ray Villaman generously promised that he would match the staff’s donations at the end of the year.  “We are grateful to have this opportunity to give back to our community.  I am particularly proud of our staff that has unselfishly donated hours of volunteer time toward this endeavor,” said Villaman.  In 2010 Fireside was able to raise over $7000 for local non-profit Tahoe Safe Alliance. This year Fireside hopes to meet their goal of $10,000 for the Truckee Family resource Center. The staff of Fireside Pizza invites the North Tahoe and Truckee community to come join them in supporting an important local organization.
