Sierra Nevada College presents the Fifth Annual Tahoe Poetry Slam on April 29 at 7pm in Patterson Hall.  The evening is free and open to all. There are cash prizes for the top three competitors.  First place and Tahoe Slam Title receives $300.00, second place $200.00 and third place is awarded $100.00. The evenings MC’s are Poetry Slam Champions and audience favorites Matt Blesse and Denise Jolly. Come early to get a good seat! The evening is popular with high school, college and poetry enthusiasts and involves active audience participation and judging.
