The Lodge Restaurant & Pub in Tahoe Donner has been honored with a Diner’s Choice Award by the popular food web site and reservations resource OpenTable.

The award is given to restaurants which are given the highest ratings from their guests. The Lodge received this comment over the holiday weekend:
 
"Wow, were we surprised to find food this good so far from civilization! We normally eat at some of the best restaurants in the Bay Area and did not expect anything this good in the Tahoe area. Everything was great. My wife had the sea bass and I had the duck breast. Even the kids calamari was outstanding. The waiter was wonderfully attentive without being "too present." Highly recommend."
 
The Lodge, which is one of two restaurants at Tahoe Donner, on the northwest side of Truckee, has worked hard to continually improve the guest experience. The staff is pleased with this recognition.
