The winter storm systems moving across the Sierra Nevada over the last several days have delivered more than 61 inches of snow to Palisades Tahoe and 42 inches to Alpine Meadows. The significant snowfall has created exceptional conditions and set up skiers and riders up with a welcome boost to the spring season.

The Pain McShlonkey Classic (PMS), touted as the 'greatest ski competition known to man or woman', returns to Palisades Tahoe March 29th for its fourth straight year of action-packed events in a hilarious tribute to legendary skier Shane McConkey. New to this year's event is a Snowblade Ballet Competition.

Palisades Tahoe and the Lake Tahoe community will celebrate the return of Lake Tahoe’s athletes from the 2014 Winter Games in Sochi with an Olympic Homecoming Celebration, complete with live music, parade, fireworks, and appearances by Olympic medalists Mikaela Shiffrin, Andrew Weibrecht, and Julia Mancuso. The welcome home party begins at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, March 21 at the KT Base Bar in The Village at Palisades Tahoe.

Palisades Tahoe and Alpine Meadows have flipped the switch on next season's season passes. The 2014-15 Tahoe Super Pass, now on sale, includes a variety of access options to four resorts, plus numerous passholder perks and special offers.

Palisades Tahoe will welcome a host of Olympic athletes during the 2014 Nature Valley U.S. Alpine Championships March 19-23. This year’s Alpine Championships will be America’s chance to see Team USA’s top skiers compete on home soil as they return from the Winter Games in Sochi, Russia.
