Resorts, holiday vacationers and eager skiers and snowboarders are aglow with excitement following a wild and windy storm that delivered fresh snow to Lake Tahoe area resorts this week.

Squaw Valley Launches Snow Dance Contest

In celebration of the recent new snow and to inspire more snowfall, Palisades Tahoe | Alpine Meadows has announced the launch of a public Tahoe Snow Dance Contest. Running through Dec. 14, skiers and riders are invited to share a video of their best 'Tahoe Snow Dance' on Palisades Tahoe’s website, as well as on Instagram, Facebook, or Twitter via Vine with the hashtag #TahoeSnowDance.

Two adult lift tickets will be awarded to the best video each day now through Dec. 14. Once submissions close, fans will then vote on their favorite video. The Grand Prize Winner will receive:
