Fresh Snow Bumps Up Sugar Bowl's Reopening

Sugar Bowl Resort, which closed after the Thanksgiving holiday weekend, has announced it has bumped up its reopening date to Thursday, Dec. 6th after receiving nearly four feet of new snow over the past weekend.

North Tahoe Resorts Receive 3.5 Feet of New Snow

It might have been raining across much of Northern California, but last week’s storm brought snow to North Lake Tahoe ski resorts – more than 3.5 feet of the white stuff, making for a great ski weekend ahead and setting things up for the holidays ahead.

Tahoe Pass Deadline Dec. 2

Vail Resorts' Tahoe Pass, which provides access to 3 resorts - Heavenly, Northstar and Kirkwood, and more than 10,270 skiable acres, hits its discount deadline on Sunday, Dec. 2nd.

Northstar Opens More Terrain

Seven inches of fresh snow Wednesday allowed Northstar to open six additional trails on the upper mountain today, bringing the open trail count to 24 and whetting the winter storm appetite of skiers and riders in North Lake Tahoe. More snow is forecast over the weekend, and expected to allow for even more new terrain.
