Nordic Festival To Celebrate Tahoe's XC Prowess

Alpenglow Sports and Tahoe Cross Country will present the first annual Lake Tahoe Nordic Festival, Friday through Sunday, February 8th - 10th, 2013, with a full weekend of parties, presentations, demos, clinics, tours and competitions.

'Plate Spotter' Campaign Rewards Lake Tahoe License Plate Holders

The environmental non-profit Tahoe Fund today announced the launch of the Lake Tahoe License Plate ‘Plate Spotter’ program to reward owners of Lake Tahoe license plates with free lift tickets during the 2013 Winter season. The program is designed to raise awareness of Lake Tahoe License Plates, and to reward and encourage renewals and new Tahoe license plate purchases.

Lifts To Open at Homewood Thursday

Homewood Mountain Resort, one of Lake Tahoe's cherished gems, will open chairlifts for the first time this season on Thursday, Dec. 20, providing access to acres of untouched fresh snow from recent storms.
