Sugar Bowl To Open For Season Weds, Dec. 6th

Sugar Bowl has officially announced its season opening for Wednesday, December 6th. Seven open trails will offer skiers and snowboarders top-to-bottom skiing and snowboarding on an ample base of 29" at the summit.

A Foot + Of Fresh Snow - Squaw Valley To Open Friday

The continuing flow of a potent 'atmospheric river' storm has dropped over a foot of new snow on Palisades Tahoe's upper mountain, cementing the plans for a much-anticipated opening day on Friday, November 17th. Palisades Tahoe plans to operate the Funitel and Gold Coast Express lifts accessing fresh snow and skiing and riding on the resort's upper mountain. More terrain is slated to open as snowfall continues and conditions allow.

WinterWondergrass Returns This Weekend

The Winter WonderGrass Festival returns to Palisades Tahoe Alpine Meadows for a fourth year April 6-8th, 2018 with headlining artists The Devil Makes Three, Railroad Earth, The Infamous Stringdusters and Elephant Revival.

Mt. Rose Ski Tahoe has announced it will begin daily operations for the 2017-18 winter season tomorrow, November 8th. The first Lake Tahoe area resort to open for the season, Mt. Rose will offer access to one beginner ski trail seven days a week.
