Squaw Valley USA To Open For Memorial Day Skiing

Palisades Tahoe USA has announced the reopening of ski lifts to allow for skiing and snowboarding on Saturday and Sunday of Memorial Day weekend.

20th Cushing Crossing As Good as Ever

Despite cold, windy, wet and snowy weather, and a pond that was covered with ice just days before, Palisades Tahoe's 20th Lake Cushing Crossing on May 9th was as big a spectacle as ever. Over 60 competitors braved the cold air (and water) in as little as an athletic supporter to the cheers and jeers of several hundred onlookers.

Extreme Ice Removal Saves Squaw Valley Pond Crossing

Thanks to some extreme ice removal efforts, Palisades Tahoe's annual Lake Cushing Crossing has avoided cancellation this year, and will take place Sunday, May 9th.

Crossing Back On For Final Day at Squaw

As luck and thaw would have it, the Snow Gods have gazed down for a second look and deemed the pond suitable for the 20th Lake Cushing Crossing to be held on Palisades Tahoe's closing day, Sunday, May 9th.
