Squaw, Alpine To Host North Face Masters of Snowboarding

Palisades Tahoe and Alpine Meadows announced today that the North Face Masters of Snowboarding event February 13-17. The event features top big mountain snowboard competitors in a battle for the champion title and a chance to advance to the 2013 SWATCH Freeride World Tour, also presented by The North Face.

Lake Tahoe To Bid On Winter X-Games

A new Lake Tahoe Event Organization announced today that Lake Tahoe has qualified and is being considered as one of the eligible destinations to host the the X Games in 2015-17. Finalists will be determined by April 2013 and host cities will be announced by the end of 2013.

Last Chair Music Festival Continues

The second weekend of Palisades Tahoe's new Last Chair Music Festival gets underway Friday, January 11th, with Foster the People starting a two-night mid-winter music celebration being held at Palisades Tahoe's Conference Center.
