The 29th Annual Gar Woods' Polar Bear Swim, held every year during the North Lake Tahoe Snowfest, again delivered on its promise of a wild and wacky good time.
The seemingly incessant series of winter storms that have rolled through the Sierra this January turned wet and wild for a few days in early February. On February 9th, after three days of rain, the winds and waves kicked up to new heights (7' waves on the lake were forecast). During a jaunt along the North Shore, we captured this segment documenting the scene.
