Truckee July 4th Parade: A Small Town Classic

The Town of Truckee's annual July 4th parade brings history and the vibrant energy of this quaint mountain town to life in one of the Sierra's highest regarded traditional Independence Day parades. This year’s parade theme of Live-Work-Play Truckee! celebrates everyone in the Truckee community that enjoys life in the mountains every day or when visiting.

'Take Care' and Hide Your Trash at Tahoe

After making headlines for the embarrassing amount of trash left on beaches last July 4th, Tahoe communities and over 50 organizations are rolling out a humorous and broadly-implemented campaign designed to remind folks to help take care of the spectacular Lake Tahoe region.
