A different movie shows every summer Thursday starting July 7. All movies start at 8:30pm, weather permitting. Blankets and warm clothes are recommended.

Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival

You’re not dreaming, you’re experiencing the enchantment of the Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival at Sand Harbor State Park.  The amphitheater is one of the most scenic venues in the world.

The free Truckee Tahoe AirShow & Family Festival is one of the region’s most family-friendly events featuring a breathtaking air show with world renowned performers, STEM Expo, Family Festival, rides for a cost in military aircraft, free rides for kids on Sunday, July 9 by the EAA Young Eagle’s pilot volunteers, static displays, vendors, a VIP Hospitality Tent, and much more! The event is a fundraiser, and All proceeds through sponsorships, vendor costs, VIP Tent ticket sales, and much more, go directly to Truckee North Tahoe youth organizations.

The air show is generously funded and presented by the Truckee Tahoe Airport District.

The Village at Squaw Valley will burst with color, taste, and sound as fine artists, crafts makers, performers and musicians come to participate in this fun, two-day annual event. The Art, Wine & Music Festival features wine tasting from 2-5pm both days, three performance stages, restaurants, shops, and walkways lined with fine art booths and exhibits. All proceeds from the event benefit Achieve Tahoe, whose mission is to provide affordable inclusive physical and recreational activities that build health and confidence.

This highly-acclaimed and popular and free outdoor concert series at the Village at Squaw Valley features dynamic performances by a host of nationally and internationally known blues musicians, great grab-and-go food offerings from Village restaurants and a "Blues Bar" with beer, wine & spirits available in the Events Plaza. During the summer Bluesdays series get discounted Aerial Tram and activity packages, food and drink specials, and lodging sales every Tuesday.

Friday, Saturday, and Sunday: $30.00 per day
Patron Badge/Season Pass: $70.00 (good for any and all days, Tuesday through Sunday)
